Okay so if you haven’t seen part 1 yet I need you to slow your roll, click here and watch part 1… Or our dog Brutus will hunt you down and just make you play fetch with him for no less than 37 hours straight

Alright cool, so if you’re reading THIS PART of the text that means either

  • A: You watched part 1, you go!
  • B: You’re going to have to play with Brutus for 37 hours (did we mention we never know when to stop a joke?)

So today what we’ll be discussing are the type of ads you should be running to allow your pixel to collect as much data as possible as QUICKLY as possible which is important. Because the quicker you can collect data, the quicker your ads will optimize and the quicker you’ll see results (and much more of them)

So our formula goes likes

View Content (VC) -> Add To Cart (ATC) -> Purchase (PUR)

The reason we start off with view content is that it’s literally going to send as many people as possible to our website who are at least INTERESTED IN OUR CONTENT which will allow us to collect as much data as humanly possible

And because of that, we should actually get more ATC fires than we would if we ran an ATC Objective ad and the reason for that is because the ATC audience is MUCH SMALLER than the VC Audience and since we don’t have much ATC data yet… Our pixel doesn’t serve that many people with ads and when it does it’s outrageously expensive

So with a larger pool, cheaper clicks starting off with VC is pretty much a no-brainer to us

And then once we reach 100 ATC pixel fires we’ll duplicate our adset and start running ATC ads

Then once we reach 100 PUR pixel fires we’ll repeat the process, duplicate our adset and start running with the PUR objective

I have tried to watch the video in both pt1 and pt2 using 2 browsers and neither show the video on the page. Are they on Youtube?

Does this apply to all newly started adsets or should I start at purchase conversion all of the time on all adsets once 100+ purchases a week are happening across all adsets in the niche?

I a little confused on the duplicate our adset and start running with the PUR objective, if i receive 100 pixl fires on add to cart, why can’f i just change the pilx setting to Purchase, i dont understand what you mean by duplicate ad set.

Awesome video. I read some other tutorials that we should run one ad for at least 3 days, start with $5. You said we should get 100 VC, then 100 ATC and then Purchase. So do you mean 100 for 1 ad/product or total of many ads in one pixel? I often run 1 ad for 3 days but get not much VC. What do you suggest? Run more days or move to another product? Thanks so much

Great stuff! So glad I found your company. Really learning a lot.
Question after you have enough VC or ATC pixel fires you duplicate the ad and change the objective and do you keep the original ads running for VC and ATC?

Great info- I started from scratch and jumped right to optimizing for Purchase. I just launched a store two days ago. Should I change existing ads’ conversion to VC or just on new ad sets?

One question if you could reply I would really appreciate it.

Once I reach 100 View Content conversions do I either:

A – Go into my advert and change it from View Content to an Add to Cart conversion. Then once I got 100 Add to Cart conversions go into the advert and change it from an Add To Cart to a Purchase conversion.

or

B – Duplicate the VC advert and select the new one as Add To Cart and stop the original VC advert. And do the same thing once I get 100 ATC conversions etc etc
